This seems to be a bug in Firefox 2.0. See bug 243748.
Click on each of the three links in turn. All the links (visited or unvisited) change correctly. Now go back to the first link and click it again. This time, all the vlinks remain the color they were from the link you chose last on the first time through. You can never change them again after that.
