The Frying Pan is a hike at Capitol Reef National Park; presumably so named because the exposed slickrock hike is brutally hot in summer. Fortunately, it was early spring when we were there, and it alternated between chilly and pleasantly warm. The hike offers views of Fern's Nipple and passes by Cassidy Arch, among other interesting features.
