The Colorado River Crossing at Hite

The slickrock near Hite. I'm still trying to figure out what the slickrock down at the bottom is. It looks a lot like Navajo sandstone and is very widespread like Navajo, but it's quite a bit older, and I can't find any geology pages that make it clear.
