Comb Ridge: Procession Panel, Split Level and Ridge Top Ruins

Comb Ridge is a a beautiful monocline of Navajo sandstone that forms the eastern flank of the Monument Upwarp. It's full of ruins and petroglyphs; hiking in to any of the many canyons draining its eastern flank is bound to find something.

Procession Panel is a steady but not particularly difficult hike to a very impressive petroglyph panel. Split Level Ruin is an easy hike to a spectacular pair of ruins. Ridge Top is a much longer hike than it looked like it would be (maybe we just thought that because we did it last?) and isn't as impressive as Split Level, but it does have a beautiful view off the edge of Comb Ridge.

Next: Road Canyon. Up: Bluff 2017.
