The Colorado River Crossing at Hite

Lake Powell. Really! This is the very top of Lake Powell, but the lake has shrunk to the point where the only water here is the river channel in the middle. You can see the old, dry boat ramp left of center.

I suspect Lake Powell will never make it up this far again. Maybe some day we'll be able to see the canyons John Wesley Powell saw.
