Akkana Peck has been a developer on the Mozilla editor since the birth of the Mozilla project ("Free the Lizard!") on March 31st, 1998.
On the Mozilla project she has been especially involved with such issues as customization, plaintext editing, mail editing, key bindings, html and plaintext output (DOM serialization), code standards, and reduction of warnings.
She is a vocal advocate of cross platform development, but prefers Linux (usually Debian or Redhat) as her own development platform.
