TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF HOME IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM WAITING LIST

Effective August 1, 2026, Housing New Mexico will temporarily close the Home Improvement Program waiting list for Guadalupe, Harding, Los Alamos, McKinley, Quay, Rio Arriba, San Juan, and Union counties.

Due to a high volume of applications and limited available funding, applications received after July 31, 2026, will not be accepted. This closure does not affect applicants who submitted a complete application prior to the closure date.

Housing New Mexico will issue a public notice when the waiting list reopens.
