Precision
On my wall I have a calendar with pretty pictures of wolves, and assorted wolf facts for each month. July features a wolf howling. In the lists of facts is:If conditions are right a wolf's howl can carry 10 miles / 16.09 kilometers.
I wonder why wolves are so much more precise when they're howling in metric?
